Sofia Arriaga

Sofia Ana Arriaga is a graduating senior at UF. She’s pursuing a dual-degree in Journalism and English with a concentration in film. She’s previously interned for HBO and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and plans to have her own TV writers' room.

Michael Bewley

Michael Bewley is a Freshman at the University of Florida. He is pursuing a degree in English.

Katie Bonevento

Katie Bonevento is a second-year English major at the University of Florida. She is the lead coordinator of this year’s Undergraduate English Conference and the secretary of University Film Society. Her primary research interest is the role of women in Gothic and horror literature and film.

Hannah Calderazzo

Hannah Calderazzo is a third-year English major, concentrating in nineteenth-century British literature. She is co-Editor-in-Chief of PRISM, the UF Honors Program magazine, and has presented research at the North American Victorian Studies Association conference for two years.

Alazne Cameron

Alazne Cameron is a Junior at UF. She was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and is pursuing a double major in English and Political Science. Her writing has been accepted into Collision Literary Magazine and she is most interested in creative writing depicting experiences of immigration and journey-driven narratives.

Hailey Dansby

Hailey Dansby is in her third year at UF. She is a food writer for Spoon University and a lab technician at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity. She is interested in the intersections between scientific knowledge and speculative fiction.

Jo Finch

Joshua Evangelista (Jo Finch) is in his final year at UF, graduating this semester with B.A. in Theatre and English. Previously published with the 805 Literary Journal and Prism Magazine, his research interests include digital medias, hypertext, and theatrical storytelling.

Hannah Lamberg

Hannah is a fourth-year student at the University of Florida, graduating with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in English. She is a U Matter We Care Ambassador and Public Relations Coordinator, the Historian for the English Society, and on the Public Relations Team of Relay for Life. She also works as a Customer Service Ambassador for Aramark and a Student Brand Ambassador for Macmillan Learning, for which she has written articles for their college blog. In the fall, she will be attending the University of Miami School of Law.

Sebastian Mallory

Sebastian is a second-year student at the University of Florida. He is currently secretary of the English Society.

John McHale

John McHale is a fourth-year English major at the University of Florida. He helps coach the nationally ranked Santa Fe Ethics Team and is currently preparing for law school. Today, John will be presenting a paper on Susan Glaspell’s A Jury of Her Peers.

Delaney Sullivan

Delaney is in her second year at the University of Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English literature and a minor in Linguistics. Her course work is concentrated in children’s and young adult literature. She is a member of Sigma Tau Delta honor society and hopes of having her paper published in its critical review journal. In her free time, she enjoys reading classic British literature and anything by Jeannette Walls.

Morgan Spraker

Morgan Spraker is in her second year at UF, pursuing a double major in English and sustainability studies. She has had creative works published in Science Fiction Daily and The Fine Print.

Matthew is a third-year student at the University of Florida studying English with a focus in creative writing.

Trent Wintermeier

Trent Wintermeier is in his Junior year at the University of Florida. He is interested in pursuing concentrations in Cultural Studies, Rhetoric, and New Media.

Victor Ellifritt

Victor Ellifritt is a Thai-American student at UF studying English literature. He habitually enjoys weight-lifting, writing fiction by Asian Americans for
Asian Americans. His artistic and
intellectual influences include Nagisa Oshima, DJ Screw, Vladimir Lenin, Flannery O’Connor,
and Malcolm X.
